How to get to Rose-Lea

Drive – Rose-Lea is situated within five minutes from the centre of town. Gunnedah is located at the junction of the Oxley and Kamilaroi Highways. We are an hour from Tamworth, Narrabri and Coonabarabran, and three hours from Newcastle and Dubbo. If you are heading to Brisbane from Sydney or Melbourne, why not take a slight detour to Gunnedah on the way?

Rail – If you would prefer not to drive, why not consider the scenic rail journey from Sydney. Trains run to and from Gunnedah daily. The trip is around six hours and takes you past a wide variety of landscapes from the Hawksbury River to the Liverpool Plains. We offer guests free pick up and drop off at the station.

Fly – Want to spend as much time at Rose-Lea as possible? Flying from Brisbane or Sydney to Tamworth takes just over an hour. We are able to offer a pick-up and drop-off service to Tamworth airport for an additional fee.
